Classificação geral - Volta a França 2025 19ª etapa: Roglic rebenta, Lipowitz seguro

A Volta a França não ofereceu grande espectáculo no seu último dia nas montanhas. A UAE Team Emirates - XRG controlou a etapa do princípio ao fim, gerindo a corrida para proteger a liderança de Tadej Pogacar. Apesar do terreno acidentado, as diferenças entre os favoritos foram mínimas. Ainda assim, a formação dos Emirados praticamente selou a vitória na geral, a dois dias do fim da prova.
Florian Lipowitz conseguiu aumentar ligeiramente a sua vantagem sobre Oscar Onley, entrando nos dois últimos dias com mais de um minuto de vantagem. Já Primoz Roglic perdeu três posições na geral, descendo de quinto para oitavo. Em sentido inverso, Felix Gall, Tobias Johannessen e Kévin Vauquelin ganharam terreno. Johannessen subiu de oitavo para sexto, ultrapassando também Vauquelin. Ben Healy e Ben O'Connor fecham atualmente o top 10 da classificação.
Na liderança da corrida permanece Tadej Pogacar com 4:24 minutos de vantagem sobre Jonas Vingegaard à entrada da 20ª etapa.

- Talvez Van Aert tenha acabado a corrida sem desistir não pela "atitude honrada de acabar a prova sem desistir" mas por outros possíveis motivos (só ele sabe o real motivo, mas não deixam de ser hipóteses com lógica): 1) A decisão de levar a corrida até ao fim pode ter sido a decisão de "já que estou aqui e não vou poder lutar por uma boa classificação, vou aproveitar para treinar"... Lembra-me o que Nelson Piquet fez no GP de Portugal de 1985... sem hipóteses de lutar pelos pontos na corrida devido a problemas com o carro, passou o resto da corrida a experimentar soluções no carro, como se faz nas sessões de treino privadas... aproveitando para testá-las em ambiente real de corrida. 2) Se algum patrocinador (Red Bull, por exemplo) lhe pagar em função do número de etapas que terminar, por exemplo, será um bom motivo para terminar, seja em que lugar for...Cicloviajador13-02-2024
