Gleb Syritsa, da Astana Qazaqstan Team, venceu a etapa 8 da Tor de Langkawi 2023 num sprint fotográfico, enquanto Simon Carr, da EF Education-EasyPost, garantiu a vitória na geral.
Num apertado sprint final até à meta, Syritsa levou a melhor sobre Daniel Babor, que inicialmente se pensava ter sido o vencedor, e Arvid De Kleijn em terceiro.
